Privacy Policy

Applies to the Digital Currency Economy application and YouTube channel.

Who uses the application

The Digital Currency Economy application is an internal tool used only by the channel owner to publish videos to their own YouTube channel. It has no public sign-up and no other users.

Data accessed through Google and YouTube

When the channel owner connects the application to YouTube, Google provides an OAuth access token and refresh token for these permissions:

• youtube.upload, to upload videos the owner has approved to the owner's channel;
• youtube.readonly, to read the connected channel's ID and title as a health check.

The application stores only the OAuth refresh token, on the owner's private server, with access restricted to the owner. It does not store, sell, share or display any YouTube data about any other user, and it does not use Google user data for advertising or to train AI models.

Digital Currency Economy's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

YouTube API Services

This application uses YouTube API Services. By using it you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Viewers of the channel

The application does not collect any information about people who watch the channel's videos. Viewing on YouTube is governed by YouTube's own terms and Google's Privacy Policy.

Retention and revoking access

The refresh token is kept until the owner disconnects the application. Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions; the stored token is then deleted from the server.
